I see by this blog that it's only been two days since my last headache...
And already, here I am with yet another headache.
No nausea or vomiting, yet. But, I'll keep you posted and let you know of any changes.
Thanks for keeping up with me! :-)
On Sep. 9, 2010, I was in the hospital due to a very bad headache that caused nausea and vomiting. Being a post-kidney transplant patient, this was of concern to me, as I need to keep my anti-rejection meds down. So, I went to the ER, and stayed in the hospital all weekend. One of the doctors who saw me there, suggested I keep a headache journal, hence this blog. This is my headache journal, as suggested by my doctor.

Pretty bad headache...
Again, a pretty nasty headache, as of this evening...but, no nausea or vomiting, yet.
I'll keep you posted.
Update: As of today, Sep. 22, 2010, my headache from the evening of Sep. 21 seems to have let up. Again, I'll keep you posted as to any changes that might come up.

Killer headache...caused nausea and vomiting...really bad.
Sep. 9, 2010, was the day I had a headache so bad, that no painkiller in the world could get rid of it.
With this headache, I couldn't keep anything down, not even my anti-rejection meds (I had a kidney transplant on Sep. 1st, so not being able to keep my meds down was a big concern for me), and because of that, I went to the ER at Sharp Memorial Hosp.
I stayed there over the weekend, to be sure that I was really well enough to return home, which apparently, I was.
While in the hospital, one of my doctors suggested that I keep a headache journal, so that I can tell if there's a pattern to these headaches. That is why I have started this blog.
You're more than welcome to read this too...but it's primarily for my personal/medical use.
Thanks for reading!
